Katerina Kedraka is a Professor of Teaching and Job Skills of Bioscientists and Lifelong Learning at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Democritus University of Thrace. She is the Director of the Laboratory of ‘Teaching and Professional Development of Bioscientists’ and directs the Postgraduate Programme ‘Teaching of Biosciences’. She is the Coordinator of the Centre for Support of Teaching and Learning and a member of the Board of the Centre for Further Education and Lifelong Learning of the Hellenic University of Thessaloniki. She is a founding member of the Greek Network of University Pedagogy and President of the corresponding Balkan Network established through the Erasmus+ MAGNET programme. She is an elected member of the Board of the Hellenic Adult Education, co-editor of the international journal Adult Education Critical Issues and member of ITLA. Her teaching and research work focuses on Adult Education, University Pedagogy, Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, Vocational Counselling and Career Management for adults, trainers, bioscientists, women, vulnerable groups and young people.
