Dr. Anna Tsiboukli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), with the subject “Lifelong Learning, Group Dynamics and Adult Education”. She teaches courses related to Adult Education and Educational Programme Design, Lifelong Learning and Group Dynamics at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education of the NKUA and at the Hellenic Open University.She also supervises theses and she is a member of three- and seven-member doctoral thesis committees in the field. Prior to her election as a faculty member at NKUA in 2021, she served as Director of Education at the Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) with main responsibility for the design, implementation and evaluation of training programmes for mental health managers and other professionals as well as the design, implementation and evaluation of research, prevention and treatment programmes for the educational integration of adolescents and young people at risk of social exclusion. Her publications include a book which is the product of co-authorship, textbooks on Lifelong Learning, Group Dynamics and Adult Education, chapters in Greek and foreign language edited volumes, papers in Greek and foreign language peer-reviewed journals, papers in Greek and international conference proceedings, research reports and participation in Dictionaries of Scientific Terms in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning. She is a member of the scientific committee or review board of international scientific journals, including the International Review of Education-Journal of Lifelong Learning of UNESCO. She is also a founding member of the Hellenic Adult Education Association for and a regular member of the International Transformative Learning Association.
