On November 8 and 9, 2021, we welcomed our partners in Athens from the\u00a0\u201cDigital Technologies to Improve Adult Learning<\/strong>\u201c<\/a>\u00a0program, carried out within the frameworks of Erasmus+. This is a program developed through the cooperation of six organizations, from 5 different countries:\u00a0Musiques de Nuit<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Le LABA<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from France,\u00a0L\u00e4ndliche Erwachsenenbildung Th\u00fcringen eV<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from Germany,\u00a0European E-learning Institute<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from Denmark,\u00a0Momentum educate + innovate<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from Ireland,\u00a0Learning Hub Friesland<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from the Netherlands and\u00a0\u00a0Hellenic Adult Education Association<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from Greece.<\/p>\n

DIGITAL and its results<\/strong><\/p>\n

DIGITAL aims to strengthen competence and mobilize educators, working with low-qualified or less-experienced adults, to use digital learning strategies and tools in order to promote their professional and personal development.<\/p>\n

The result of this project was the creation of a\u00a0Good Practice Compendium<\/a><\/strong>, a digital edition that encourages knowledge sharing and learning among Adult Education organizations by identifying and sharing innovative approaches to the application of digital teaching and learning. In addition, a\u00a0DIGITAL toolbox<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was introduced, an interactive version including the 23 best digital learning tools, which were tested by the program partners and which also includes methods and instructions for application and use of these tools. Finally, the\u00a0DIGITAL Online-Course<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was created, a short online seminar offered to educators in order to enhance their digital skills and use digital learning tools with confidence.<\/p>\n

The meeting in Athens<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the agenda of Monday\u2019s program was the meeting of the project\u2019s partners in our offices in Athens, where the results of the program were discussed and followed by its evaluation. Tuesday was dedicated to the guided tour of our collaborators at the Museum and the Archaeological Site of the Acropolis.<\/p>\n

An open event came next at the President Hotel, during which presentations of the program and the partners took place, followed by a workshop on the practical application of the program tools. We received feedback from participants about the developed tools, which is particularly important for both improving the tools themselves as well as ourselves.<\/p>\n
